There are several ways to join us in support of our powerful work:

1. Financial donations of any size go directly toward artist fees – boosting artist career opportunities, and receive a charitable tax receipt. You can donate to our general operations through the Future Fund; or to our Immersion Youth Mentorship Program that provides young Black dance artists with workshops, residencies, career mentorship, and professional level-performance opportunities.
2. Volunteer to serve on our Board of Directors, or to help out at performance and educational events.
3. Subscribe to our bi-weekly newsletter that provides information on upcoming events, Black artist profiles, and broader community arts events.
4. Spread the word. If you have enjoyed a dance Immersion event, join us for another one; tell a friend; and like, follow, and share our social posts.

For over 30 years, dance Immersion has impacted communities in Toronto, across Canada, and internationally with our excellence in producing, promoting, and supporting dancers and dances of the African Diaspora. 

We are growing: Our high-impact community education and artist professional development programs, our residencies nurturing new and expanding Black Canadian dance works, and our award-winning presentations are expanding as we continue to champion the strength, beauty, diversity, and contributions of African Diasporic dances and the courageous artists who share their visions with the world.

You can also send a donation via e-transfer to payments@danceimmersion.ca. If sending an e-transfer, please indicate where you would like your donation to be directed in the transfer memo, and include your email address for the charitable receipt. 

For cash, mail-in, and e-transfer donations, your charitable receipt will be sent via email. For contributions through Canada Helps, your charitable receipt will be automatically emailed to you through their system.
