For over 30 years, dance Immersion has impacted communities in Toronto, across Canada, and internationally with our excellence in producing, promoting, and supporting dancers and dances of the African Diaspora. Our work is an essential part of a healthy society that values lifelong learning, cross-cultural understanding, community building, and coming together in harmony. 

We are growing: Our award-winning presentations, our high-impact community education and artist professional development programs, and our residencies nurturing new Black Canadian dance works are expanding as we continue to champion the strength, diversity, and contributions of African Diasporic dances and the courageous artists who share their visions with the world. 

• A $25 donation covers an arts worker ticket to a performance.
• A $250 donation provides the cost of one day of rehearsal space.
• A $1,200 donation supports one week of an artist’s performance or rehearsal fee.
• A $2,500 donation covers the instructor fees for a workshop series for local professional and youth education. 
• A $10,000 donation provides a new youth training and performance scholarship or a residency for a local group to develop a new dance work.

You can also send a donation via e-transfer to payments@danceimmersion.ca. If sending an e-transfer, please indicate where you would like your donation to be directed in the transfer memo, and include your email address for the charitable receipt. 

For cash, mail-in, and e-transfer donations, your charitable receipt will be sent via email. For contributions through Canada Helps, your charitable receipt will be automatically emailed to you through their system.
